If I could be as good a mom as you,
My loving heart would make my family glad.
I’d be a good example in all I do;
I’d give my all, give everything I had.

I’d make each day for family a pleasure.
I’d use my energy, my love, my gifts,
Creating memories they would always treasure.
If I could be as good a mom as you,
I’d teach my kids the right from the wrong.
I’d sit up with them, throughout the night
Telling stories with lessons to learn.
If I could be as good a mom as you,
I’d always be there to correct with care.
I’d share the importance of living for God.
Teaching my home to know His ways.
You scrub my hands, you scrub my nose
you scrub the space between my toes
you scrub the floor, you scrub the cloths
The toilet you still find time to scrub that too
You scrub so much, i wonder if it's fun
But then you sigh, "its's never well done"
so now dear mother, i'm your new scrub
Just use this scrub, leave the sponge and soap
You are my mother, i am your child
You are my quiet place, i am your wild
You are my calm face, i am your giggle
You are my wide-awake, i am your bedtime
I must have taken your presence for granted
but the truth remains that i seek your face
when ever i'm scared or feel alone.
It works like magic but then you always appear
You’ve done so much I never could repay;
