How I snatched your boyfriend

You call me a boyfriend snatcher. Well, let me tell you how I snatched your boyfriend. Maybe you might learn a thing or two. Truth is, I never really set outto snatch him. You led him to me. I know you are wondering what I mean, so I will explain. It started out as a casual friendship. But I observed that he was different. The kind of ‘different’ that makes you get interested in a person. Not because of how he dressed, no, he was just a regular guy, physically. But from the way hethought and talked about things and how he carried himself, I just knew this man was different. He had depth. You, I guess, did not know that. Or if you did, you disregarded it. You probably just saw him as ordinary because he was your boyfriend and he had no halo on his head. I saw him as special and he was not my boyfriend.Whenever we met I would engage him in a casual conversation and we began to know each other more. I discovered that he was simple. Where were you allthose times? He would later tell me that you were actually in some of these meetings but you said you did not want to be seen with him in public. That it was not yet time for that.To be candid, I was surprised because that is what guys tell ladies. I have never heard of a lady telling a guy who she knows is really in love with her thatshe does not want to be seen with him when she does not have another boyfriend.Even when a guy is still ‘toasting’ a lady and he is all over her, she does not shove him away. She will be the one letting her friends know that he is a ‘toaster.’ However, you probably had your reasons but as you can see, it obviously did not turn out well for you because, today, I have him and you call me the boyfriend snatcher. His simplicity drew me closer to him. He was sound, knowledgeable and purpose driven. He knew what he wanted in life and that guided every decision he made. He cared about little things - those things that most folks would forget.

WINNING SIDE REALITY

In a war we just have two sides
1. The winning side
2. The loosing side

OK, am not a solider so am not gonna be talking about wars here.
i will try as much as possible to make this post short enough since people are already complaining about "too long" articles.
I caught this revelation about winning that i wish everyone else could catch, i'll summarize it in two sentences, "Even when you lose, you win....you can't lose for winning". you know sometimes when things become a little difficult people tend to believe they are not meant for success, its funny how some people think success was meant for a specific group of people with there names probably written down alphabetically with a permanent marker in a white board up in heaven, thats a very funnily bizarre thought, everyone of us was ordained to be a success, am pretty sure if you end up not making it in life you would be breaking some record in Heaven, no think about it, God made you to succeed but then you didn't succeed, Men you are Powerful 😂😂
Alright enough jokes

UNBREAK MY HEART

Tony would always push me to the wall whenever I got him upset, he would press my neck so hard threatening to kill me if I ever got him angry again. I began to wonder, but this was not the guy that approached me a few years ago, then he was so soft telling me tales on his love for everything about me, I could steal remember everything like it was yesterday, the day I finally yielded to the soft tone of his charming voice singing praises to me, Tony is tall, fair, very cute, unreasonably caring with a wonderful sense of humor (at least that’s what I thought then), now things has changed dramatically and I keep asking my thoughtful self what has happened to Tony?  I try to make him understand that he is hurting me but he sees nothing, I decided I have to talk to him, i promised myself I wouldn’t let anyone see me cry but I couldn’t help it this time, I walked into the room slowly silently reciting everything I wanted to tell him, he is laughing in his room with someone, I must be dreaming, I decided to enter the room to see things for myself, Ooh no, My world is over this is the guy I have given my life to without another lady, I poured out my heart here, with a tears filled eye I kept asking Tony why? What did I ever do to deserve this, I couldn’t even see but I could swear I saw Tony smiling. I staggered out of the room, probably drunk in tears, thinking this is not happening to me.

The Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit is not an “it.” The Holy Spirit is a Person. The Bible says that He is not something, He is Someone. He is God. There are three Persons in the Trinity–God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.
The Bible teaches that the Holy Spirit is all-powerful. We read in Micah 3:8, “I am full of power by the Spirit of the Lord.” The Bible says that God is present everywhere. No matter where we go, He is there. “Where can I go from Your Spirit? Or where can I flee from Your presence?” (Psalm 139:7). The Holy Spirit can be in both your heart and my heart, even though we may live a thousand miles apart.
The Holy Spirit has all knowledge. The Bible says, “The Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God” (1 Corinthians 2:10). It is the Holy Spirit who teaches us and takes us deeper and deeper into God’s truth as we go along in our Christian life. We are to grow in the grace and knowledge of Christ, but we can grow only by the help of the Holy Spirit.

He lives in me

Do we really  believe that we supernatural, we live our lives just the way we see it, and its not supposed be that way, there is a saying that, "what will be will be" but that shouldn't be the saying of a Christian, What will be will not be rather WHAT YOU WANT TO BE WILL BE, there is consciousness that comes with knowing who you are, it makes you understand what you should do and what not to do.

A King  once got a Maid in the palace pregnant, now to save his Crown he had to banish the maid  from the land, the Maid went to another village and lived very miserably with her baby and it continued for many years, the little baby became a man and as you might guess gradually started demanding for informations concerning his father, his mother would always cry when he asked this question so he resorted to giving it time, meanwhile in the other Kingdom the king never gave birth to a son before he died and there was confusion in choosing the next King after he died, the case became more confusing when the Chief Priest told them that the King had a son, One day the boy together with some of his friends decided to go to this Kingdom to buy some things, he never knew about the banishment, he got to the village and after they had bought everything they needed they could not find the money, the woman selling wasn't really very nice, she had them locked up by the security in the market and accused them of being thieves. They were brought to the palace with just the Chief Priest to judge them since the King was no more. To the surprise of everyone the Chief Priest announced the poor boy as King, his mother was invited to the palace and she narrated the everything that happened between her  and the King. The market woman knelt down to beg even the security where apologetically.

The beauty in you

Many a times we focus our lives and minds on what is wrong with us, the things that we would have had that we didn't, our imitation and then we end up envying other people ignoring those things in us that make us beautiful, Mandy Hoskins said :
" There is no such thing as ugly, everyone is beautiful in their own way."

At first when i saw this quote i was thought he was trying to talk about the physical aspect, until i realized its more than just that.
I had a friend back then in secondary school, he was nicknamed "hope" because when you think you are looking bad or there was something wrong with your physical structure, you just have to look at him and you see that you are not bad after all, in our ss1 this guy was so much insulted, we call it "yab", he had a very big shapeless head and we would always sing when we saw him, "onye isi ya ka nke mu, le ya ka ọ na-abịa" in English it means, "The person with a bigger head than mine, behold him coming". I could feel he was angry, but it didn't last for long because in our ss2 everybody wanted to be his friend, yea the guy turned out to be super brilliant, while we kept singing our songs, he kept doing his thing, reading and focusing on his future, that same year he made a refrigerator in his cupboard in school and a tractor which was controlled with  a wireless remote. It didnt take time for the school authorities to notice him and before we (the singers) could enter ss3 our "hope" was flying abroad.

5 Ways to Rediscover the Real You

After I wrote an article on "Where do you belong ?" a participant sent me this anonymous mail, in response to the first step in the post, "DEFINE WHO YOU ARE?":

"I would love to learn how to define who i am - but what does that mean and how do you do this?"
You'd be surprised how often people ask this, . Our culture doesn't encourage us to be ourselves. Quite the opposite - we're encouraged to follow a formula that's supposed to guarantee us happiness and wealth. Get an education in a traditionally approved field, get a "good" job, find "The One" (preferably one who society would approve of) and marry them, buy as big a house as you can, get two matching cars, go on vacation somewhere nice once a year, and if you're lucky you'll retire with a nice fat pension. Given the current economic climate, the latter items are slipping out of the grip of many.
The good news is that research shows that income and things beyond our basic comforts don't make us happier, and may actually have been making us unhappier. Particularly, in my opinion, if you've been squishing your real self down all along in order to create this picture-perfect "ideal" life.
When life is falling down around you, or if it just feels blah, lifeless or even hopeless, the quickest way to add hope and life back in is to re-connect with the real you.
Here are five ways to do this:
1) Look back and think of when you were happiest
When did you thrive the most in your life? Looking back, there were key joyous moments for me: practicing my "If i were the President of the Federal republic of Nigeria" speech in the house in preparation for my Speech then in Secondary School; traveling to visit relatives in my country on a Fast ferry jet with my parents; Reading a self written story then in secondary school in class without everyone laughing, visiting My Uncle in Porthacourth mostly due to my industrial training that later turned to an adventure ha ha ha...notice a couple of themes here? reading, writing and travel. Small wonder that when I began venturing into the writing faze my whole life changed. I laughed more, loved more, and felt filled with energy. I felt like I was finally truly alive.  That's not selfish, or silly - I was simply being who I was meant to be, all along.  Who are you meant to be?
